“Amor Eterno” Día de los Muertos Exhibit
The Mexican Cultural Center, together with the Consulate General of Mexico, is pleased to present its annual Día de Muertos exhibit.
This year’s exhibit will highlight the life of the singer and songwriter Juan Gabriel, with some of his most popular songs will reflect the celebration and the components of the altars as well as some of the symbolic cultural treasures of Mexico’s Día de Muertos. This exhibit will allow visitors to remember, honor, and, most importantly, to celebrate those who have passed away before us.

Dia de los muertos: Day of the Dead
Longmont Museum’s annual Día de los Muertos (Day of theDead) is celebrating its 16th anniversary this year!. People of all cultures honor the memories of their ancestors. In many parts of Mexico, South America, and the United States, El Día de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, is a time to honor and celebrate deceased loved ones. Community participation is an essential part of this holiday that is full of life, reflection, food, family and fun.

El Latir de Mexico Concert: Mexican Independence Celebration
The Mexican Cultural Center, the Consulate General of Mexico in Denver, the Colorado Symphony and the Metropolitan State University of Denver are thrilled to present its fifth El Latir de México, a free community concert that commemorates the 206th anniversary of the Independence of Mexico. This year’s program which includes music from renowned Mexican composers will be conducted by Andres Lopera and feature performances by Mexican soprano Monica Abrego, Mariachi Sol de Mi Tierra, directed by Juventino Romero, Mariachi Correcaminos, directed by Lorenzo Trujillo from the Metropolitan State University of Denver and dancers from Dancers from the Fiesta Colorado Dance Company directed by Jeanette Trujillo Lucero.

Perfiles – Art Exhibit
Perfiles is a collective art exhibition in which five Latin artists who live in Denver will be exhibiting their latest work. From contemporary painting, to lithographs, each profile is unique.

Rocky Mountain Region’s Largest Día del Niño Celebration!
Consulate General of Mexico and Mexican Cultural Center spearhead large celebration and new branding. Día del Niño Weekend will include free admission to each of the participating organizations, and additional programming and festivities to recognize this year’s theme, “An International Celebration of All Children.”

Día del Niño Celebration at DMNS
